Filming for “The Sea Great and Wide…”
Filming wrapped in February on Syracuse friends’ — Alex Keane, Bridget Perrotta and Samuel Hoffman’s —first short film titled “The Sea Great and Wide Therein are Creeping Things Innumerable”.

54 Below Debut: Bo Burnham - Inside
Alex made their debut in the iconic off Broadway venue — 54 Below — singing “How The World Works” from Bo Burnham’s Comedy Special, Inside.

Romeo and Juliet: A queer, abridged retelling
Alex played Juliet in a queer production of Romeo and Juliet in Central Park. The show was produced by The Fortnight Project — a queer, femme-led theater company in New York. This production utilized a ton of devising and puppetry and included many fellow Syracuse alums.

Criss Crossed by Katelyn Seyl
Alex participated in a workshop of New York Theater Festival alum and playwright Katelyn Seyl’s new three-person play Criss Crossed as gender-nonconforming character, Curly Q. Directed by Andrew Garrett

Fish in a Tree Movement Workshop
Alex was invited by Sammy Lopez (Tony Award Winning Broadway Producer, P3 Productions) to play Jessica in a pre-production movement workshop for New York City Children’s Theater’s new TYA show, Fish in a Tree. The workshop was directed by Sammy Lopez and Melissa Jessel.

Since March 2022, Alex has been the guitar-playing Musician and a puppeteer in Shadow Box Theater’s touring show, Little is Big.

The Keepers’ Voice at The Rev
Alex spent time in Upstate NY playing Matilda Joslyn Gage in The Rev Theater Company’s Touring production of The Keeper’s Voice.

The Waiting
In December, Alex participated in a developmental reading of a new folk musical, The Waiting, off-Broadway at the Triad Theater in New York.
June - August 2021
Cortland Repertory Theater
Alex was cast in Cortland Repertory’s Summer Season as Captain Bonny in Pirate Schmirate!, Judy in Goin’ to the Chapel, and Helena/Titania/The Wall in a 6 actor version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In August, they were nominated for a regional Broadway World award for their performance in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
